Special Tribute from Governor Whitmer

Bayshore Veterinary Hospital received a Special Tribute from Governor Whitmer, recognizing our longstanding commitment to veterinary care in Marquette and surrounding communities. Signed by Governor Whitmer, Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist, State Senator Ed McBroom, and State Representative Sara Cambensy, the tribute honors our contributions since opening in 1993.

 

The tribute also acknowledged our recent expansion, adding 6,500 square feet of state-of-the-art medical space. This has allowed us to enhance our services, including digital X-rays, ultrasounds, and advanced surgical capabilities. We’re proud of our ability to grow and continue providing top-quality care, even in the face of challenges, while building strong relationships within the community.

 

In addition, the Special Tribute from Governor Whitmer honored our founder, Dr. Tim Hunt, for his leadership in the veterinary field. Dr. Hunt’s work, from creating Dr. Tim’s Premium All Natural Pet Food to his efforts as a sled dog race vet and emergency care during natural disasters, was recognized as vital to animal welfare. We’re grateful for this recognition and remain dedicated to improving the quality of life for pets and their families.
