Surgery Day

If your pet is going to be going under general anesthesia, we require no food to be given after 9 P.M. the night before. They can have water up until they are dropped off at the clinic. Drop-off your pet between 7:45 and 8:30 A.M. the day of surgery. You will be asked about your pet's health history, vaccination status, and pre-anesthetic bloodwork is optional for animals under 8 years (required for animals over 8 years old).  We encourage owners to call and check on their pet during the day of surgery and we will inform you about their recovery and expected time to go home.
