An annual wellness exam is often key to detecting and preventing many health conditions in your pet. During this exam we will also discuss vaccinations, heartworm testing, and any other appropriate laboratory testing.

During a thorough exam we will ask you questions about your pet's history so we can get a better insight of their daily lives. Questions may include:

  • Diet
  • Activity level
  • Vaccination history
  • Surgery history
  • Any pre-existing health conditions
  • How long he or she has been a part of your family and previous history

We will then perform a nose to tail physical examination:

  • Ears, nose, and eye exam
  • Thorough oral examination for any signs of dental wear, decay, pain, or irritation
  • Assess body condition and skin and haircoat condition
  • Feel all lymph nodes for any abnormalities
  • Feel the abdomen for any lumps, bumps, or uncomfortable areas
  • Examine external reproductive organs and rectum
  • Evaluate for orthopedic soundness

If your pet is due for any vaccinations and has a top-notch physical examination, vaccines we offer include:
