Danelle

Director of Veterinary Support Staff

With over 26 years of experience at Bayshore, Danelle has played a crucial role in the hospital’s growth. She oversees daily operations, making sure everything runs smoothly for clients, patients, and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, hiking, and gardening.

Kira

Veterinary Support Staff Supervisor, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kira, a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 10 years of experience, earned her Associates in Applied Science Veterinary Technology from Globe University in Madison, WI. Originally from Houghton, MI, she now lives in Marquette with her husband and five fur babies. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and baking in her free time, embracing the beauty of the U.P.

Mary B.

Business Manager

Mary B. graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from the Chicago College of Performing Arts in 2010. After marrying a Yooper, she settled in the U.P. and now brings her administrative and customer service experience to Bayshore. Mary enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, including biking, camping, and gardening, with Lake Superior as her favorite retreat.

Heather

Licensed Veterinary Technician

 

Heather, originally from Northern Florida, earned her veterinary technology degree in 2013. She then spent 11 years working in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in Pittsburgh. Her love for travel and adventure brought her to Michigan. When not working, Heather enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading outdoors.

Megan has been in veterinary medicine for three years and started at Bayshore in 2021 as a CSR, now working as a veterinary assistant while pursuing her LVT certification. With a lifelong passion for animals, Megan has also volunteered in South Africa, gaining valuable wildlife experience. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, hiking, and spending time with her family, including her husband Dakota, their son Liam, three dogs, and three cats. Megan views her work as more than just a job—it’s her true passion.

Laura

Licensed Veterinary Technician & Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner

Laura is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She has been working with pets in the Marquette area since 2010 and is passionate about rehabilitation therapy, helping pets recover and maintain mobility.

Megan

Veterinary Assistant

Megan has been in veterinary medicine for three years and started at Bayshore in 2021 as a CSR, now working as a veterinary assistant while pursuing her LVT certification. With a lifelong passion for animals, Megan has also volunteered in South Africa, gaining valuable wildlife experience. Stephanie enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, Josh, their one-eyed Australian Cattle Dog, Pepper, and their cat, Bandit.

Olivia

Veterinary Assistant

Olivia has four years of experience in veterinary medicine and is currently studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her passion for animal welfare drives her to provide top-notch care for every patient.

Veterinary Assistant

Sam joined Bayshore in 2022 and is currently studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her background in animal shelter work inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine. Sam lives with her two large dogs, Dutchman and Aspen, and enjoys hiking and indoor gardening in her free time.

Molly

Veterinary Assistant

Molly joined Bayshore as a Veterinary Assistant in 2023 after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She is excited to continue her studies at the Royal Veterinary College in London but loves working with the Bayshore team in her hometown of Marquette.

Amber

Customer Service Representative & Veterinary Assistant

Amber has been with Bayshore since 2019, filling multiple roles as both a Customer Service Representative and Veterinary Assistant. Originally from Florida, she moved to the Upper Peninsula and now shares her home with two adopted cats.

Kelli

Customer Service Representative Manager

Kelli joined Bayshore in 2021, bringing years of experience as a receptionist and certified dermatology technician. Passionate about working with animals, she dreams of working at a zoo. Kelli lives with her husband, Jackson, their three kids, and two dogs, Gia and Leia. In her spare time, she competes in a local women's pool league.

Morgan

Customer Service Representative

Morgan has worked at Bayshore as a Customer Service Representative since 2020. She loves interacting with clients and their pets, making every visit to the clinic a positive one. Morgan lives in Harvey with her husband and their five dogs and enjoys exploring the outdoors.

Kenzie

Customer Service Representative

Kenzie started at Bayshore in 2023 and is passionate about animals. With a background in English, she now enjoys interacting with clients and their pets daily. Kenzie shares her home with her husband and their two cats, Momo and Appa.

Lynn

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Lynn, a 1981 MSU Veterinary Technology graduate, has a wealth of experience across various veterinary fields, including ICU, Oncology, and Surgery. After moving to Marquette in 2017, she joined Bayshore Veterinary Hospital, where she now focuses on dental care and sedated grooming. Passionate about veterinary medicine, she’s dedicated to educating clients and mentoring future professionals.

Jacqueline

Veterinary Assistant

Jacqueline joined Bayshore in 2022 and brings a lifelong passion for animals to her role as a veterinary assistant. Raised on a farm in Skandia, she has extensive experience working with animals. In her free time, she enjoys designing clothing, making jewelry, and caring for her elderly husky, Kaveri.

Sandi

Pharmacy Technician

Sandi has been a part of the Bayshore team for over 12 years and has more than 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. As the pharmacy technician, she makes sure that pets receive the correct medications and nutritional supplements.

Shelby

Licensed Veterinary Technologist

Shelby graduated from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. With over 10 years of experience in various veterinary fields, she now serves Bayshore patients alongside her fiancé, Dr. Chris Stretton. Shelby loves outdoor adventures with their dogs, Cali and Levi, and is committed to bringing top-notch care, especially during emergencies.

Bri

Veterinary Assistant

Bri has been part of Bayshore since 2018. Originally from Upstate New York, she moved to Marquette with her family and began working as a veterinary assistant. Bri loves animals of all kinds and enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Duke and River, and her horse, Bourbon.

Nicole

Veterinary Assistant

Nicole grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York and moved to the U.P. with her husband and son in 2018, joining Bayshore shortly after. She has two dogs, Duke and River, a horse named Bourbon, and a chameleon named Chamelle. Nicole enjoys life with her family and animals.

Veronica is a Pre-Veterinary major at Northern Michigan University and an active member of the Animal and Pre-Veterinary club. Originally from Grand Rapids, she now helps manage social media for Sasawin, a local animal haven. Veronica enjoys vegan cooking, biking, and thrift shopping, and adores her 12-year-old rescue cat, Kipper.

Jessi

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jessi has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2008 and is also a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Technician (CHPT). She is passionate about helping families through the end-of-life care process for their pets.

Adele

Customer Service Representative

Adele has been a receptionist at Bayshore Veterinary Hospital since 2021 and is currently studying Radiography and Clinical Health at Northern Michigan University. She began working in the veterinary field in 2019 at a 24-hour emergency hospital in Metro-Detroit. Adele enjoys hiking, visiting local coffee shops, and listening to music. Hannah

Customer Service Representative

Hannah graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. After moving from the Metro Detroit area, she joined Bayshore Veterinary Hospital as a customer service representative in 2020. She and her husband, Brad, have a one-year-old daughter and two dogs, Beau and Callaway, enjoying outdoor family activities together.

Olivia

Customer Service Representative

Olivia is new to the veterinary care field but has always had a passion for animals, caring for her pets and the occasional stray. She has three dogs—Marlow, a Bernese Mountain Dog; Bentley, a Golden Retriever; and Meekah, an Australian Shepherd—and two cats, Lil Peep and Leo. Olivia enjoys exploring trails, reading at the beach, or binge-watching TV series at home.

A veterinarian-client-patient-relationship, or VCPR for short, exists when your veterinarian knows your pet well enough to be able to diagnose and treat any medical conditons your animal develops. A VCPR is established only when your veterinarian examines your animal in person yearly and is required by law in Michigan to effectively diagnose, treat and prescribe or dispense medications.
